Welcome to the Lawson Lab

We are investigating the molecular mechanisms of hormone action in the pituitary, with a special emphasis on factors controlling reproductive function.  Our primary topic of interest is the control of reproductive hormone synthesis by the neuropeptide Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone. Please see our Research Interests page for details about our ongoing projects.

We are located on the third floor of the Leichtag Family Biomedical Research Building on the La Jolla Campus of The University of California, San Diego School of Medicine.

If you are interested in research opportunities in our lab, UCSD, or in Endocrinology in general, please See our Research Opportunities page.
